We Are Open (despite what Google says)

We are open! Hours are Wed-Fri 10am – 6pm, 10-4 Sat. and 10-2 Sun. We are closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

I have been fighting with Google for over two weeks now. I created a business profile several months ago, thinking we’d be able to open in April or May. Because of some road blocks, we weren’t actually able to open the doors to the public until the end of June.

On the day we opened, June 29, I edited my business profile to reflect that we were open and added hours. Google let me know at the time that it could take up to 3 days to approve my change requests. Ok, fine, whatever. On July 10, way past the 3 days to approve, I contacted Google because my profile was still marked “temporarily closed”. The person I talked to said that the changes would be make within 24-48 hours. On July 14, 96 hours after I was told 24-48 hours, the changes still weren’t made, so I contacted Google again. I was told that it would be another 24-48 hours before their “specialist team” could review. So, it’s been 336 hours +, and nothing. Google needs to get its shit together soon.
